Service Auction Sunday

The Service Auction is this Sunday, March 19th, starting immediately after music Sunday (approximately 11:30 am.)

Price: It costs $10 to participate in the auction and receive a bid number. Most couples and families will only need 1 bid number. If you pre-paid for your bid number/ticket, it will be available at the door. Bid number/tickets will also be available at the door.

Split the Pot Raffle: You can buy raffle tickets until 10:25 Sunday morning. If you win, we’ll split the raffle pot with you 50/50. (Not bad for a $2 raffle ticket!) The drawing will be during the service. You need not be present to win.

Heads or Tails Game (with prizes!): During the service Reverend Laura will emcee a game for the whole family – Heads or Tails. Each player needs a string of beads, ($1 each.) If you didn’t pre-pay for your beads, these will also be on sale at the door.

If you cannot attend, ask a member of the auction committee or a friend to bid for you! Please email your highest bids for each numbered item you would like by Friday, March 17th to: mvuufauction@gmail.com. We will start bidding for you at the lowest price available and stop at your max. We’ll add the $10 bid fee to your winning bids.

Donors, please check to see that we have listed your item(s) correctly. Let us know if there are changes or corrections ASAP at mvuufauction@gmail.com.

Bidding starts at 11:30AM or at the end of the service. It continues until everyone has finished, around 1:00 PM.

Food: Please bring your favorite appetizer to share. Fill your plate with finger food to munch on while you place your bids. Before leaving church, please clean up your dishes (and maybe someone else’s!) so no one gets stuck with all the clean up.

Winning Bids or Auction Purchases: There will be no distribution of tickets, food, or goods on Sunday, 3-19. Bids will be tallied throughout the week and you will be notified by email of your winning bids and the amount you owe. Next Sunday, March 26th, please come with cash or check to pay for and pick up your items. You can also pay directly through the MVUUF website or through the Venmo app, using the drop down menu for the auction.

Come: Please plan to come for the wonderful music, great stuff to bid on, and yummy munchies – and remember that all proceeds help fund our budget.
