This December and January MVUUF has a very special art show in our gallery. Both Paul and Helga are prominent artists and well-known in art and Pagan communities. They will join us in person on the Solstice for their art show opening following the Sunday Service. Two local artists explore the Pagan roots of Winter Solstice and the darkest time of the year, through images originating in traditions all over Europe. From the Yule Goat to the Solstice Stag, to Mother Night and the Yule Father, these interpretations bring beauty from the past into the present to help bring everyone through winter’s cold, with a promise of light.
